We spent extremely pleasant 5 days in Berlin. There we met with Bernd and Cyn (”old” friends of mine), and attended also the yearly gathering of the people somehow connected with Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung (fellows, administrative staff, guests, …). This meeting allowed us to meet some new interesting people and to enjoy the hospitality of the president of Germany (since he organized a banquet for all Humboldtians attending the meeting on his castle in the very heart of Berlin - Schloß Bellevue).
