I performed another update of my WordPress installation. At the same time, I had to change the setting for the LatexRender plugin in order to have high quality output of mathematical expressions. The conversion from ps to gif format broke down for an unknown reason. After switching to conversion scheme ps-png, everything works perfectly again.

The plugin I used for entering the mathematical expressions in the LaTeX format (merely a MimeTeX wrapper) does not seem to work any longer. Therefore, I decided to use different approach (see here). The Linux installation guide for Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V3205 notebook is now complete. I added the information on hibernate/suspend/resume functionality, CPU frequence scaling, and powersave options.
The only two features that are not resolved at the moment are FireWire functionality (I have no possibility to test it) and microphone problems (it doesn’t work in Linux).
