Two bugs were discovered in the code of the eef program from my MD tools ‘package’. The program can be used for the calculation of the electric field along specified vector at given point in the structure (using Amber trajectory).

Tentokrát tu mám 2 různé problémy. Jeden souvisí s degenerací daného kvantového stavu (D. A. McQuarrie, Statistical Mechanics, rovnice 1.34 a 1.35). Druhý jsem ‘potkal’ při diskusi orbitálního angulárního momentu a sférických harmonických funkcí (D. D. Fitts, Principles of Quantum Mechanics, kapitola 5.3, rovnice 5.49).
Jelikož se o víkendu nečekaně udělalo krásné počasí, vyrazili jsme v sobotu na malý výlet do Straubingu. Je to malé městečko asi 50 km východně od Regensburgu. Vyvinulo se z původní římské vojenské posádky. O víkendu tam zrovna probíhaly nějaké slavnosti, takže hlavní náměstí bylo plné lidí, stánků a muzikantů…
