This trip “around” our hotel (500 m down, 500 m up) and then some extra walk along the cliffs was the first with Joachim as our guide and was also one of the nicest ones. And the weather was gorgeous. :-)

The twelfth part of the photos from our Madeira 2011 vacation contains the pictures from our last trip – we visited Ponta do Sol, walked along 2 levadas through some really stunning sceneries, then drove to the mountain moor Paul da Serra and visited the highest point there – Pico Ruivo do Paul.
